After months of planning from my Tio Jason (or Theo Yayson) we embarked on our first official “Family Vacation” to the Muskokas. Tio Jason found us a really cool cottage overlooking lake Rousseau and close to Windemere where my mami vacationed as a child. We had an awesome time and it was so cool having my ‘cuz Henry there to play with. He is bigger than I am but loves to play with me and even though I can’t verbally express myself to him, he seems to get it.

My favorite pastime was palying on the beach with the sand and getting my feet wet in the very cold water. Henry would take the canoe, me the paddle boat, and we would also go out for long trips out on the lake exploring looking for the mouth of the lake that my Tia Gabi swore was close. Turns out it wasn’t so close

Henry taught me that frozen yogurt and blueberries in a cone are the bomb – have been eating it ever since.

The first ever Fermelinger Badminton match occurred on this trip. [more to come ... ]
